We are now very happy to report that we have reopened for regular services and High Holiday celebrations.  For full details, please see the SERVICES page.

A massiver shout out and THANK YOU!!! to everyone who helped.  We will publish some pictures of the rtenovated shul on the website shortly.

From 1 November 2016, we have replaced Aberdeen Hebrew Congregation.

The transition began at our first AGM on 27 November 2016.

ASJCC will continue to perform the same functions as AHC.  Initially, there will be no difference in terms of services and social activities.

Membership dues for the coming year (5779) should be paid to ASJCC and not AHC. We will also request that all members sign new Gift Aid forms (copy at the top of this page).

If any person wishes to see the constitution for ASJCC, please make a request to aberdeensynagogue@gmail.com

About Candle-Lighting
It is considered a great mitzvah and responsibility to honour the Sabbath by lighting candles 18 minutes before sunset on Friday evening. This unique commandment, entrusted to the Jewish woman, is rich with meaning and purpose.
